Eligibility: Open to all artists residing in the global economy. Any medium, including performance and video is acceptable, as long as it isn't too illegal, perishable or dangerous.
Entry Requirements: Artists must submit a completed entry form, images of up to 3 works, and entry fee of $20 US dollars. Entries received without payment of the $20 entry fee will not be reviewed. Acceptable forms of payment include check, money order, PayPal or Google Checkout.
Juror(s) of Awards: We are thrilled (and a little worried) to have the internationally acclaimed and consistently unpredictable art duo, the Art Guys, as special guest jurors.
The Art Guys (Michael Galbreth and Jack Massing) are a Houston based collaborative team that have worked together since 1983 after meeting while students at the University of Houston. Included in this multifarious duo's oeuvre are sculpture, drawing, performances, installations and video.

Awards: 150 $1.00 scratch off Oregon lottery tickets will be presented to the first place winner. 2 honorable mentions will receive 50 scratch off tickets each. A peoples choice award will be given at the opening and will be highlighted on our website.
Sales/Commissions: A 60/40 commission (60% artist 40% gallery) will apply to all sales, so be sure to price your work accordingly.
Submission Guidelines: Artists may submit up to 3 images of their work per entry fee. The maximum number of works per entry fee is 3. You may enter more than once. For performance and video, you can post to you tube and send us a link, or you can mail us a DVD. For conceptual work, you can call us to talk about it. If we think it's a prank call, we'll hang up on you.
Image Specifications: Horizontal images should be sized to a width of 1024px, and vertical images should be sized to a height 768 pixels and a resolution of 200 dpi. Images must be saved in the JPEG file format (with a .jpg). We reserve the right to use submitted images for promotional purposes.

Acceptance/Notification: Artists will be notified by June 20, 2008 as to whether or not they have been selected. Accepted work must be received at the gallery no later than July 5, 2008. Satellite Gallery will insure all work on our premises for the duration of the show. Artists who are shipping their work are responsible for return shipping and insurance while in transit.
