Dollar stores, dollar menus, dollar deals, the strength and weakness of the dollar, it’s everywhere… it’s the lowest common denominator and it’s one of the most ubiquitous and prevalent symbols of contemporary American culture.

That is why it is such rich territory for you, the art making public. So go buy something for a dollar and make art out of it (we’re using the honor system here, folks). Artwork incorporating imagery of the almighty greenback is encouraged as well. The Art Guys are jurying this show, so pretty much anything goes, and you are sure to get your dollars worth out of the experience!
